Improved control of picture files and paths for InDesign CS 3 documents

The storage location of your picture files has changed? There are different versions of your pictures in the network?

PictureXTracker searches folders or volumes for all picture files related to one or several InDesign documents. Even complex file systems are efficiently searched for picture data. PictureXTracker provides various optional settings, such as for whether file suffixes are to be taken into account or not or the search is to be case sensitive, or whether the file used for assignment should always be the one with the latest date. Embedded pictures can be included in or excluded from the editing process. If the picture exists anywhere in the selected directory system, PictureXTracker will find it and present it to the user with all the status information like file type, location, size, colour model, dimension and a preview of the picture. If PictureXTracker finds several pictures with the same name in the searched directories during the search process, the user will individually decide which picture file is to be valid.

PictureXTracker loads the selected pictures into the document, and your document is up to date again!
Reassignment can even be carried out for all open documents at once.

PictureXTracker allows you to replace complete or partial picture paths with others. By using Macintosh or Windows path separators, even the platform can be changed if required.
PictureXTracker becomes an essential tool in handling InDesign documents as well as the related pictures in changing or multiple work environments.
