The SoftCare Overset Manager plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS2 & CS3 and Adobe InCopy CS2 & CS3 gives you complete control over text length and text overset, enabling you to count, display, edit and print overset text. SoftCare Overset Manager is the ideal tool for everybody dealing with text-intensive files on a regular basis. The plug-in now offers the possibility of using 5 different languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and user guides are available in the five languages too.

With SoftCare Overset Manager you can choose to automatically show or hide overset frames for the selected text flow or all text flows on the page. The overset frames are attached to the bottom right corner of the text frame or to the last text frame of a text flow. They are highlighted with a light yellow background colour. The background colour makes it easy to spot instances of text overset on an InDesign file, thus helping to prevent costly mistakes.
