Quark has announced the availability of the QuarkXPress® 7.2 updater. This download, free to current QuarkXPress 7 users, provides enhanced features in:

• Job Jackets™ can now be built from a layout evaluation dialog box, amongst other improvements.
• Improved flattening, including vector objects, drop shadows, and blends
• The Color Management Module now supports Kodak®’s new CMM that includes black point compensation
• Support for the XPert Tools Pro XTensions™ module
• New support for Microsoft Windows® Vista™

It also addresses a [1] host of known issues.

The Update requires that the user is running QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 7.01 or 7.02, and can be downloaded from Quark’s site [2] via this link.
