Quark Customers Help Redesign QuarkStore for Improved Online Shopping Experience

DENVER—(THE DESIGN WEBLOG)—31 August, 2004—Feedback from Quark customers guided Quark”s redesign of its online shopping site, QuarkStore, which is now open and ready for business.

Quark representatives acted on the advice of their customers. Now, new tools help customers track their orders and access such important information as serial numbers, validation codes, and licensing status. Online shoppers can create sales quotes, save and edit them as needed, and use them to make purchases later.

“More and more, customers depend on the Internet to buy and manage their software applications,” Wirz-Grutter said, adding that goals of the redesign included helping customers locate, order, and upgrade Quark products faster and easier than before, which will save time and protect their investment in their desktop and enterprise software solutions.

“We want our customers to spend their time designing, as they prefer,” Wirz-Grutter said, “not struggling to order and manage their products.”

  2. Just visited it. It is, in fact, easier and clearer to use than before. Following links to products gets you simple product descriptions and clear pricing information. QuarkStore before was kind of a maze.

    Good on Quark for this improvement.
