Samuel John Klein is a freelance graphic designer, design student, and art student based in Portland, Oregon. He has experience in print design and enjoys logo design, but is always open to anything that will expand his horizons. With experience in InDesign and Quark, he views the current struggle between Quark and Adobe as an exciting time that may well reshape the way designers do their work—or, at the very least, the path design work will follow in the years to come

Since he very much enjoys writing and offering his opinions (go ahead, ask me!), he is excited to be a stringer in World Desktop Publishing War II for QuarkVSInDesign.com.

Current projects include (Since Fall 2004) [1] the Columbia Overlook (follow [2] links to the Fall 2004 issue and later to see his work there) the quarterly newsletter for the Columbia Group of the Sierra Club’s Oregon Chapter, and the website for [3] The Science Fiction Museum, (under major rework as of this writing), a fan-based non-profit effort.

His current homepage for contact purposes (personal and professional) is [4] The SunDial Earth Station.
