For slightly more advanced Photoshop users—or after becoming comfortable with the Slicing 101 tutorial above—it’s time to set aside Photoshop and use the tool made for slicing: Photoshop’s sister, ImageReady*.

This intermediate slicing tutorial by Man1c M0g on Biorust walks through the creation of a full website user interface (”UI”), including graphics, text, navigation, and background images.
* For those who do not already know, if you own any version of Photoshop after 5.5 (6, 7, CS, or CS2), you already own ImageReady too. It is already installed on your system, and where Photoshop’s rudimentary slicing, animation, and web-design tools leave off, ImageReady picks up.
