



Al Ward, author
of Photoshop For Right Brainers: The
Art Of Photo Manipulation, admits to having an alter ego: “I found that lurking somewhere in the musty
recesses of my brain was a twisted, darker version of myself that translated to the work I was developing.”
Dark Al created this technique, which mercilessly mutates a sweet, innocent girl into the vile, well-dwelling girl who crawled out of the television set and into our nightmares in the film “The Ring.”
