A little late but nonetheless demonstrative of sound Photoshop techniques, Mihai’s “Draw a Christmas Tree [with] Lights & Stuff” (via TeamPhotoshop) is a good tutorial to keep on hand next time a tree, shrub, lawn, carpet, or sweater is needed.
