How-To’s Day: InDesign: How To Layout A Newsletter In InDesign

Kathryn L. Glorieux, editor of Georgia Southern University’s The George-Anne broadsheet paper, will walk you step-by-step through laying out a newsletter in InDesign. The tutorial includes a discussion of the grid, stylesheet usage, and adjusting text tracking to adress copy space considerations.

Says Katie:

This tutorial is designed to be used by someone who has a basic understanding of how PageMaker works, since InDesign and PageMaker are very similar programs. I will be describing how to build a George- Anne  newspaper page from a template fashioned within InDesign. This is to help you learn the basics of page layout and design. I will also be showing you short cuts to help you lay out your page faster.
